Map Legend: Estimate Best Values

Hello

I noticed that on Stat Planet setting, the option Map Legend: Estimate Best Value Distribution is not really working. Whether or not you select it, it will always re calculate the legend as you change continents/regions. Is anyone else facing the same problem? Can I fix this somehow?

Best Regards

Hi Tiago,
To stop the map legend re-calculation when changing to a different region, there is another variable 'ADJSCALE2' which needs to be set to FALSE. Alternatively when you manually set the map legends it will also remain the same (http://www.statsilk.com/files/resources/User_Guide_StatPlanet.htm#_Toc356607135).

Hello Frank
Unfortunately it only works for a few regions. It is still adjusting automatically. Even though depending on the variable it works for two or three regions, but it doesn't work for all of them.
Would you like to see the data set? Or is there any aditional procedure I should try?
Thanks for your reply Franc, they are all very helpfull!

Hi Tiago,
That's odd, sure I would like to see the data set and perhaps if you could indicate the steps where it goes wrong. Did ou also try manually setting the map legends in the data file?
Best,
Frank

Hello Frank
Yes I've tried to set the map legend manually. But then I face one problem:
1) The icon will only work for that configuration, if I want to change the colors on stat planet the icon won't appear anymore.
But the good news is, fixing the map legend manually solves the issue with stat planet re calculating the values everytime I changed a region.

Hi Tiago,
The issue with external icons not displaying after changing the map legend has been resolved and I will send you the new version.
