When I go to this map:

http://www.civicyouth.org/maps/state-civic-ed/index.html

For the indicator,"Number of Required Credits / Years in H.S. Social Studies (2014)", the state of Idaho (ID) is color coded correctly and its correct data shows up in the popup window. However, when I "mouse over" the "5" category the state doesn't show up. Rather it shows up when I mouse over the "2" category.

I think this glitch may be related to how I have the categories coded for this indicator. Here is what I have:

0=[0x0F2E4C][5][5]
1=[0x1A4C80][4][4]
2=[0x1F5C99][3.5][3.5]
3=[0x297ACC][3][3]
4=[0x3399FF][2.5][2.5]
5=[0x70B8FF][2][2]
6=[0xADD6FF][1.5][1.5]
7=[0xD6EBFF][0-1]

Thoughts on how to solve this problem?

Hi,

The following should work:

0=[0x0F2E4C][4.9][5] 1=[0x1A4C80][4][4] 2=[0x1F5C99][3.5][3.5] 3=[0x297ACC][3][3] 4=[0x3399FF][2.5][2.5] 5=[0x70B8FF][2][2] 6=[0xADD6FF][1.5][1.5] 7=[0xD6EBFF][0-1]

It specifies 4.9 instead of 5, as for the first category it is > the value you specify (so with this code it will show values greater than 4.9).

Best,

Frank

This really helps. Especially understanding the part about greater than.
